About Us

British bullfighter, veteran bull-runner and author, Alexander Fiske-Harrison, learning how to bullfight in 2009 on the world famous bull-breeding ranch of Zahariche in Seville, belonging to the historic Miura family, after whom Lamborghini named their first car (and, more recently, the Murciélago, was named after their 19th century seed bull.)

Bullfighting Andalusia was founded by prize-winning author and bullfighter Alexander Fiske-Harrison in early 2019 with the idea of accessing his twenty years of experience and contacts in the ‘world of the bulls’.

We first opened for business during the annual Feria del Toro in Pamplona, the July Fiestas of San Fermín in 2017, where, we escorted our first clients through into the bull-runs and bullfights of Pamplona and then into the ring on a bull-breeding ranch to teach bullfighting with young 300lb calves (all unharmed!) Our very first group was the board of directors the world’s richest sporting organisation, NASCAR, followed the next day by a Fortune 500 medical company’s Chief Executive and his team. We have even taught Hollywood producers in the bull-run and the bull-ring. 

We have grown every year since – COVID-19 to one side – and in July 2023 on one single day we put 70 American clients into the ring in sequence with a dozen fighting cattle, all under the guidance and tutelage of British bullfighter & author Alexander Fiske-Harrison, along with top Spanish matador, Eduardo Dávila Miura, and a half dozen assistant bullfighters ranging from novilleros to banderilleros. 

We are currently taking bookings for the 2024 season in beautiful historic Seville where you can stay at the best hotels (arranged by us) meet and learn with the greatest matadors, and then get in the ring with small, young fighting bulls yourself before – should the opportunity arise – being given your tickets to watch the very top of the rankings fight that evening in Spain’s oldest ‘category one’ bullring, La Real Maestranza de Sevilla. We offer the same service in the world famous Fiesta of San Fermín in Pamplona, including running the bulls with our experts beside you.

Our friend and colleague, Maestro Eduardo Dávila Miura, one of the top matadors in Spain, nephew of the historic bull-breeders Antonio and Eduardo Miura. His first pupil was Alexander, and they have worked together ever since.
